Adjunct Instructors - Philosophy

Overview

St. Norbert College is accepting applications on a continuing basis for instructors qualified to teach Philosophy. The pool will be utilized on an as‑needed basis, with opportunities arising as staffing needs occur, and applications will remain active for up to two years.

• Teach Philosophical Foundations (PHIL 120) in person on campus.
• Deliver instruction in additional Core Curriculum courses as needed.

• Minimum Academic
  
  Qualifications:
  
  MA degree in Philosophy (PhD preferred).
• Evidence of classroom teaching.
• Minimum Professional
  
  Experience:
  
  at least five years of professional experience in the field, with demonstrated currency within the last five years (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent).
• Preferred: ability to teach additional Courses in the Core Curriculum.

Applicants who meet the minimum requirements are not automatically accepted into teaching positions; decisions are made at the discretion of the dean of arts and sciences.
