We're looking for a hands-on Learning & Development Manager who is excited to create engaging learning experiences, build meaningful development programs, and use modern learning technology to help our employees grow and succeed.

Key Responsibilities Instructional Design
  • Design practical, engaging learning experiences for a variety of audiences, including driver safety and compliance training, frontline leadership development, and broader employee development.
  • Support subject matter experts and leaders in organizing content and preparing to deliver effective learning experiences.
  • Design blended learning experiences using e-learning, videos, facilitated sessions, peer discussions, reflection, coaching, and on-the-job application.
  • Create learning content and resources, including presentations, e-learning courses, discussion guides, facilitator materials, and interactive activities.
  • Serve as a primary administrator for PTI's learning platforms, including 360

    Learning and Open Sesame.
  • Build and manage courses, learning paths, assignments, learner groups, catalogs, and discussion spaces.
  • Curate and upload internally developed and third-party learning content.
  • Manage the learner experience, including assignments, completion tracking, learner communications, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Monitor learner engagement and completion, including follow-up on required training.
  • Promote learning platform adoption through course recommendations, new content, and tips that help employees make better use of available resources.
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to resolve issues and maximize platform capabilities.
Leadership & Employee Development
  • Coordinate and support PTI's leadership development programs, including Driven2

    Lead and role-specific leadership training.
  • Design monthly development experiences that combine formal learning, peer cohorts, book studies, coaching, reflection, and application.
  • Conduct individual development conversations with leaders focused on development goals, self-awareness, habit-building, and applying learning to their roles.
  • Create discussion guides and talking points for peer cohorts and leader-led sessions.
  • Plan and coordinate learning experiences delivered through e-learning, workshops, speakers, and senior leader-led sessions.
  • Help leaders connect learning to real work through application activities, challenges, and reflection.
Project Management
  • Manage timelines for recurring learning initiatives, such as monthly driver Scorecard training, ensuring content is developed, reviewed, and ready for launch.
  • Support the ongoing development of career and development tools, including PTI's Compass, our competency model.
  • Manage multiple learning projects from concept through design, development, and launch, coordinating subject matter experts, internal content creators, leaders, and external partners to keep projects on schedule.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify learning needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Monitor participation and feedback to improve future programs.
  • Stay current on instructional design, adult learning, and emerging learning technologies.
  • Evaluate learning programs and resources to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in business reviews and project check‑ins with learning technology and content partners.
  • Recommend new approaches, content and technologies that improve the employee learning experience.
