Digital Press Operator

INDEPENDENT PRINTING & PACKAGING HAS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A CHECK DIGITAL PRESS OPERATOR TO JOIN OUR CHECKS TEAM!
POSITION SUMMARY:

The Digital Press Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring Ricoh digital presses used in check production. This role ensures all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with departmental procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. The operator works collaboratively with team members to meet production goals while maintaining a high level of product quality.

• Read and interpret work orders to plan and execute production according to established procedures.
• Prepare and run check orders, ensuring proper alignment, ink density, numbering sequence, and overall print quality.
• Maintain consistent quality and production standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Operate digital presses and trimmers; perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Restock unused check paper to designated storage areas and deliver make-ready materials to the cutter.
• Provide backup support for other check department functions as required.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, production errors, or order discrepancies to the Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including routine equipment cleaning.
• Accurately complete time sheets using appropriate job function codes.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in check printing or digital press operations preferred.

Full-time, Hourly, Monday – Thursday 12:00pm – 10:00pm

This is an hourly position and beginning wage will bein linewith experience.
