1st Shift Forklift Operator (Open) – Job Requisition #: 034454

Under direct supervision, performs entry‑level routine activities associated with assembly machine operation and setup.

• Operate routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
• Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced.
• Report any errors that result in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper set‑up and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience.

• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Pay range: $17.55 to $28.03 annually.
