Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications;
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine material requirements, dimensions, and machine settings;
Perform machine setups, including selecting appropriate tooling, adjusting back gauges, and programming or adjusting machine controls;
Measure and inspect parts using tape measures and other hand tools to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements;
Monitor production runs, make necessary adjustments to equipment, and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues to maintain consistent output
