Position: DIE CUTTER/FOIL STAMP OPERATOR

INDEPENDENT PRINTING & PACKAGING HAS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A DIE CUTTER/FOIL STAMP OPERATOR TO JOIN OUR MACHINE FINISHING TEAM!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Die Cutter/Foil Stamp Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and routine maintenance of Bobst and Brausse die cutting and foil stamping equipment within the machine finishing department. This position ensures jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and according to established quality and production standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set up, adjust, and operate die cutting and foil stamping equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Review job tickets to determine quantities, stock specifications, finishing requirements, and special instructions.
  • Follow production schedules and prioritize work to meet established deadlines.
  • Perform make-ready procedures and make adjustments throughout production to maintain consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct quality inspections throughout the production run to ensure finished products meet customer and company specifications.
  • Monitor equipment operation and identify issues that may affect product quality, productivity, or safety.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make appropriate adjustments as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and other preventative maintenance tasks as required.
  • Maintain accurate production and job-related information as required.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and production standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work cooperatively with other production team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Self-motivated and dependable team player with the ability to learn new processes and equipment quickly.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with good basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous machine operation experience, including equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and quality control.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and understand written job tickets, production instructions, and procedures.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Previous experience operating Bobst or Brausse die cutting equipment and/or foil stamping equipment is preferred.
  • Printing or post-press experience is a plus; training is available for the right candidate.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures and work safely around production machinery.
SCHEDULE:

Full-time, Hourly, First and Second shift available.
First is Monday – Friday 6:00 am- 2:00 pm
Second is Monday – Thursday 2:00 pm – 12:00 am

STARTING WAGE:

This is an hourly position and beginning wage will be in line with experience.
