Working in our state of the art Folding Carton plant, you will be responsible for operating one of the following machines at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce high quality product.
- Sheet Fed Printing Press
- Sheet Fed Die Cutter
- Folder Gluer
Shifts:
- 1A/1B: 4:00AM - 4:00PM; 3 days on, 4 days off (NO SWING)
- 2A/2B: 4:00PM - 4:00AM; 3 days on, 4 days off (NO SWING)
- 1st: 6:00AM - 2:00PM, Mon
- Fri - 2nd: 2:00PM - 12:00AM, Mon
- Thur
Starting at $23.98 per hour.
PrincipalDuties & Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a food safety culture by adhering to Safe Quality Foods requirements.
- Collaborate with Operators, Lead Operators, Assistant Operators, and Back-up Operators.
- Set and adjust machine controls.
- Monitor machine operation and perform machine changeover tasks.
- Assist other areas of production with staging of materials and tools.
- Maintain inventory.
- Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
- Use required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.
- Comply with all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure product is processed according to the production schedule.
- Keep work area and machine organized and clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Regular attendance is essential; may be required to work some overtime.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow simple written and oral instructions.
- Ability to perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
- Ability to give, receive, and analyze information.
- Equivalent to high school graduation.
- Ability to meet or exceed deadlines.
- Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
- Physical requirements:
stand and walk 90% of work time; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 10% of work time. - Vision: see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe an area up and down or left and right while eyes are fixed; judge distance and spatial relationships.
- Physical use: use hands 100% of work time; reach above shoulders 50% of work time; use feet to operate machines 30% of work time.
- Weight lifting: 10 lbs or less 25% of work time; 25 lbs or less 30% of work time; 50 lbs or less 25% of work time; may lift 100 lbs or less 5% of work time; may lift 100 lbs or more.
- May be required to use sense of smell.
- Work near moving mechanical parts.
- Nearly constant exposure to vibrations, noise and chemical odors.
- Work with a variety of chemicals including UV inks and coatings.
