Maintenance Technician II

Overview

Maintenance Technician. Green Bay, Wisconsin. Full-Time. Travel within one hour of Green Bay. $25-$30 per hour. Toonen Consulting is proud to represent a fast-growing real estate investment company (rental homes + renovation projects) seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support its residential rental portfolio across Northeast Wisconsin.

• Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across assigned properties.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and mechanical systems.
• Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Conduct property and unit inspections, identifying maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls as needed.
• Support unit turns, renovations, and minor remodeling projects.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work spaces in a safe, organized manner.
• Document completed work, materials used, and time spent accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work.

• Trade certifications or vocational training.
• Experience in property management, multifamily, or commercial environments.

• $25-$30 per hour, based on experience.
• After-hours emergency call compensated at 1.5 x hourly rate.
