Multitrade Residential Remodel Technician

A growing local real estate company is looking for a hands-on, skilled Construction & Remodeling Technician to join its team. This position is ideal for someone with strong general trades experience who can work independently, solve problems, and handle a variety of residential construction, remodeling, and repair projects.

This is not an entry-level helper role. We are looking for someone who can achieve quality work across multiple areas, including trim, cabinets, doors, windows, flooring, painting, plaster/drywall, light plumbing, light electrical, and general repairs.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities may include:

• Remove and replace windows.
• Install cabinets, doors, trim, baseboards, and finish carpentry.
• Replace or assist with water heater installation, as allowed by code/licensing requirements.
• Perform light plumbing repairs and fixture replacements.
• Perform light electrical work, such as outlets, switches, fixtures, and troubleshooting within code requirements.
• Paint interiors and exteriors as needed.
• Patch, repair, and finish drywall and plaster.
• Install subfloor and assist with flooring prep/repairs.
• Complete general remodeling, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Troubleshoot issues and determine the best repair solution.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and vendors.

What We’re Looking For

The right person will have:

• Strong hands-on experience in residential construction, remodeling, maintenance, or a similar skilled trades role.
• Ability to work across multiple trades, including carpentry, drywall/plaster, painting, plumbing, electrical, windows, doors, trim, cabinets, and flooring.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and perform physical work throughout the day.

Preferred Experience

• Apartment maintenance, property maintenance, remodeling, flipping homes, or residential construction experience.
• Finish carpentry experience.
• Plaster repair experience.
• Water heater, plumbing, or electrical experience.
• Experience working on occupied and vacant residential properties.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime or schedule flexibility may be needed depending on project deadlines.

Pay: Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
