Overview
UA Cossatot is seeking a motivated and student-focused Recruiter–Secondary Advisor to join our High School Programs team. This position plays a vital role in connecting high school students with college and career opportunities while supporting recruitment, outreach, and student success initiatives across our service area.
📍 De Queen & Nashville Service Area | Full-Time
What You’ll Do- Recruit and engage prospective students through high schools, community events, and campus activities
- Assist students with the admissions process and guide them through next steps toward enrollment
- Substitute teach in the Secondary Career Center as needed
- Support and participate in campus events and outreach initiatives
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student services to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in ongoing professional development
- High school diploma or GED required
- Professional, adaptable, and comfortable working in a variety of settings
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the service area
- Ability to pass background and child maltreatment checks
