Job Summary
The Cybersecurity/Artificial Intelligence Instructor will teach at least five in‑person and/or online courses per semester to secondary and/or post‑secondary students, develop curriculum and instructional materials, evaluate student performance according to the university assessment plan, engage with business and industry representatives, facilitate relationships within the Cyber Learn consortium, participate in grant writing and administration, advise program students, and attend recruiting events. This full‑time, on‑campus position requires 30 hours per week, typically Monday through Thursday, with occasional Friday meetings and some travel.
Responsibilities- Teach at least five in‑person and/or online courses per semester.
- Develop curriculum and instructional materials for courses as needed.
- Evaluate student performance according to the university assessment plan.
- Engage with business and industry representatives.
- Facilitate and maintain relationships with other colleges in the Cyber Learn consortium.
- Participate in grant writing and administration activities.
- Advise program students.
- Attend recruiting events.
- Maintain required documentation and comply with pre‑employment screening procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field with at least five years of in‑field experience, or a Master’s degree in the same fields.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
Annual salary: $58,000–$68,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
