Job SummaryReport to the Sr HR Systems Manager. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, accurate payroll, and timely processing for exempt and non‑exempt employees across multiple states in a rapidly growing organization.
Essential Duties- Ensure timecards are complete, accurate and ready for payroll processing for bi‑weekly and semi‑monthly payrolls.
- Manage workflow to ensure all pre‑payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Run daily, weekly and per‑pay‑period timekeeping reports to support HR partners and production leadership.
- Audit and reconcile the time keeping system to ensure compliance with company policy and procedure.
- Ensure compliance with payroll audits.
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate pre‑process reports to ensure accurate processing of data changes.
- Manage and respond to employee payroll‑related tickets through the internal ticketing system.
- Support the off‑cycle payroll process for supplemental bonuses, incentives, relocation, and long‑term incentives.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll information, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Continuously innovate timekeeping and payroll solutions and process improvements.
- Education:
Associate’s degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance. - Minimum 3 years experience processing payroll or working with a timekeeping system for 1,000+ employees.
- Working‑level knowledge of the English language (reading, writing, speaking).
- Manufacturing or related experience preferred.
- Experience with Workday preferred.
- Demonstrated comfort in multi‑national environments.
- Strong prioritization, flexibility, and ability to multi‑task.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) with advanced data analysis and reporting.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Customer service and resolution skills.
Typical workday includes 70% sitting, 15% walking, 10% standing, 5% lifting (up to 35 lbs occasionally). No heavy lifting.
