The MIS Clerk / Medicaid Specialist plays a key support role within the Special Education Department by managing essential student data systems, coordinating Medicaid documentation, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and assisting with department operations. This position supports the accuracy of student records, facilitates services, and contributes to the overall efficiency of the department.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work collaboratively with educational professionals, parents, and students
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing and consent documentation
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with staff and families

$21.00/hour - commensurate with experience

Classified, 8 hrs/day (40 hrs/week), 250 workday calendar

• All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
