Purpose:
This position provides assistance and supervision for children during lunch to ensure a safe and positive environment. Starting Salary: $15.60/hour Anticipated
Start Date:
August 19th, 2026 Requirements:
All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test. All employees are required to submit a pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.
Aide
The lunchroom aide provides assistance and supervision for children during lunch to ensure a safe and secure environment.

- Bereavement Leave – three (3) days per occurrence.
- 164 day work calendar
- Previous work in a school setting, preferred
- Completion of clear, criminal background check
- Current Certificate of Health, including negative TB test on file in the District office
Prolonged standing, occasional stooping, bending, and reaching. Must work in noisy and crowded environments.
Conditions- Supervise students at lunch and maintains a positive atmosphere that aligns with the rules present within the building
- Circulate through the cafeteria during mealtime and assists students as needed
- Assist in lunchroom clean-up on an as-needed basis between lunch periods/groups of students
- Report safety, sanitary, and other hazards immediately to front office staff
- Maintain confidentiality and professionally represents the school and district in interactions with parents, community, staff, and students
- Attend work regularly and is punctual
- Support the mission and vision of USD 232
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
