Milburn Civil Engineering, LLC is a growing civil engineering firm that specializes in a variety of civil engineering projects. We have established strong working relationships with our clients ranging from contractors, architects, developers and government agencies. We have worked on a diverse range of projects from site development projects to large retaining wall design projects. Milburn Civil Engineering is headquartered in De Soto Kansas and is a rapidly growing firm.

Being part of the Milburn Civil Engineering team will mean working on challenging projects, taking ownership in production, managing projects, being responsive to the client and working directly with the Owner of the company.

Milburn Civil Engineering is seeking fulltime full time employment of a Civil Engineer with experience in commercial and residential site development. Position requires experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Below are the employment requirements.

• Project planning, design, preparation of reports and preparation of construction documents
• Project Management
• Regularly communicate and collaborate with the Principal Engineer
• Take ownership in the prepared plans

• Work effectively with team members and clients
• Organized
• Punctual
• Basic knowledge of engineering design
• Able to prioritize workload and deadlines
• Able to multitask, self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Must have an Intern Engineer Certificate

• Civil Engineering: 1+ year design experience
• Drafting/AutoCAD: 1+ year drafting/AutoCAD experience

Milburn Civil Engineering provides competitive compensation and excellent benefits. The wages associated with this position vary based upon candidate’s previous experience, salary history and qualifications. Work schedule includes 9 hours days Monday through Thursday and 4 hours on Friday.
