Responsibilities- Perform system rounds, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems with moderate supervision.
- Respond rapidly as First Responder for operational needs in manufacturing areas.
- Assess and resolve utility outages.
- Operate and maintain all relevant tools and equipment.
- Ensure vendors, contractors, and tenants comply with PECNA work rules; coordinate regularly with Engineering, Construction, and PECNA Tenants.
- Maintain intermediate knowledge of all listed electrical/mechanical systems.
- Support cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and train others at the same or lower level.
- Uphold safety and company regulations, maintain clean organized work spaces meeting 6S standards, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
- Work all scheduled shifts with flexibility; maintain PPE requirements (full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, hazmat suit with respirator; pre‑employment respirator fit test required where applicable).
Required:
- High school diploma, GED, or 2 years prior experience in the functional area.
- Minimum 4 years related work experience.
- Intermediate knowledge in utility generation & distribution (steam, water, air), mechanical (HVAC, piping/plumbing, pneumatic), or electrical systems in an industrial facility.
- Effective oral and written communication; willingness to work on a team.
- Flexibility and strong self‑initiative.
- Electrical Safety in the Workplace.
- Working‑level knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
Preferred:
- 8+ years related experience.
- Mechanical engineering or construction management experience.
- Experience with scheduling software.
- Alignment with Panasonic’s seven core principles.
- PIT License, MEWP, State Issued Driver’s License.
- CPR, QET, OSHA 10/30, HAZWOPER 8/40.
