Responsibilities

Shift: C-Shift Days 7AM-7PM (Thurs, Fri, Sat & Every Other Wednesday)

  • Maintain production equipment and machinery in proper operating order through preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and basic repair.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure reliable equipment performance and minimal downtime.
  • Participate in improvement activities and support the implementation of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) and machine ownership initiatives.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards within a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties

  • Functional Operations:
    Work closely with Operations teams to maintain PECNA equipment; check settings, gauge readings, HMI, and sensors; perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning, lubricating shafts, bearings, gears); tighten bolts, inspect belts/chains, replace parts as needed; grease or lubricate fittings and motors; perform cleaning and reassembly per OEM specs; maintain shop and production areas in a 6S environment; operate and maintain tools and equipment;

    capable of working all scheduled shifts.
  • Performance Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
    Perform basic troubleshooting to replace worn parts; conduct visual/audible observations to detect abnormalities; examine machine parts for wear; perform basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting; use hand/power tools, meters, and material handling equipment; identify faulty operations and escalate issues; conduct initial multimeter readings and read PLC ladder logic; identify causes of breakdowns and help eliminate them; assist in developing new Standard Work as required.
  • Training & Team Support:
    Able to train others at the same or lower level.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly and support implementation of compliant processes and procedures.
  • Quality, Safety, & Compliance:
    Maintain accurate records of completed work, including After Action Reviews (AAR); ensure compliance with safety regulations, SOPs, and quality policies; follow 6S standards and maintain a clean, safe work area; adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements.

Training & Personal Protective Equipment

  • Able to train others at the same or lower level.
  • Wearing PPE as required, including equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and respirators where applicable.

Education & Qualifications

  • Required:

    High School Diploma, GED, or 2 years of experience in the functional area.
  • Preferred:
    Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology).

Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant maintenance or technical work experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment and learn new tools quickly.
  • Successful completion of Ramsay mechanical or electrical aptitude assessment.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform standard calculations.
  • Ability to learn and understand production equipment and processes.
  • Collaborative, adaptable team player with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to receive guidance and contribute to a team-oriented culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant maintenance or technical work experience.
  • Completion of PECNA Maintenance Apprenticeship Program.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) training and experience.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure.
