Construction Laborer
This role involves the uncrating and placing of machinery used in the manufacturing of batteries, with responsibilities including unloading, loading, and relocating cargoes. The position requires individuals to work from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
Responsibilities- Unload, load, and unstuff cargoes from trailers or shipping containers.
- Uncrate, crate, unpack, pack, and move cargoes using manual or powered hand tools and material handling equipment.
- Relocate and roughly set cargoes to designated locations on the production floor using manual or powered hand tools, toe jacks, and equipment like skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ months of construction or physical labor experience.
- Experience in operating forklifts, gradalls, or other lifts is a plus.
- Ability to bend, crawl, and walk multiple times throughout the day.

The role is based in a manufacturing facility with both indoor and outdoor material moving in a 2M SQFT setting. The environment is hot and non-climate controlled, requiring adaptability and resilience.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of De Soto, KS. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
