Security Officer Driving Patrol- Battery Plant

Location:

De Soto, KS. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a tech-focused location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the chance to support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while working for an agile, reliable, and innovative company.

Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: Monday 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM, Thursday 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM, Friday 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM, Saturday 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM, Sunday 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site protocols, and report concerns involving restricted areas, equipment spaces, and/or after-hours access.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed expectations.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered per applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license required only for driving positions.
