Equipment Operator (Diesel And Propane Sit Down Forklift)

Responsibilities:

• Unload, load, and unstuff cargoes from trailers or shipping containers.
• Uncrate, crate, unpack, pack, and move cargoes using manual or powered hand tools, material handling equipment, etc.
• Relocate and rough set cargoes to the designated location on the production floor using manual or powered hand tools, manual toe jacks, material handling equipment like manual skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role
• Forklift operation
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions accurately

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of construction or physical labor experience
• Ability to walk 10+ miles per day
• 1+ year of equipment operating experience (diesel and propane sit down forklift)
• Ability to bend, crawl, and walk frequently throughout the day

Work Environment:

This position is based in a Panasonic manufacturing facility, involving indoor and outdoor material moving in a 2 million square foot setting. The environment is hot and non-climate controlled, requiring adaptability and resilience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of De Soto, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
