  • Unload, load, and unstuff cargo from trailers and shipping containers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Uncrate, crate, unpack, pack, and move cargo using manual and powered hand tools and material handling equipment.
  • Relocate and roughly set machinery and cargo to designated locations on the production floor according to layout plans and instructions.
  • Use manual toe jacks, skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts to maneuver heavy equipment and materials.
  • Follow detailed instructions and site plans to ensure equipment is placed accurately and securely.
  • Perform general labor tasks including construction-related activities, basic carpentry, and cleaning as needed to support equipment installation and movement.
  • Handle power tools and hand tools safely and correctly during crating, uncrating, and installation work.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while working indoors and outdoors in an active manufacturing environment.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including OSHA standards and facility-specific safety rules.
  • Work a full-time schedule from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material movement and equipment placement.

At least 1 year of experience in construction or other physical labor-intensive work.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and sustained physical labor throughout the workday.
  • Ability to walk 10 or more miles per day in a large industrial facility.
  • Ability to bend, crawl, and walk repeatedly throughout the day to access and move equipment.
  • Experience with general labor tasks in industrial or construction settings.
  • Comfort using hand tools and power tools for crating, uncrating, and basic construction-related tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Willingness to obtain an OSHA 10 certification if not already held.
  • Ability to work safely around material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts.
  • Experience in construction, equipment moving, or industrial material handling.
  • Prior experience operating forklifts, gradalls, or other lifts is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in carpentry or basic construction tasks is an advantage.
  • Experience performing cleaning and housekeeping tasks in industrial or construction environments.
  • Comfort working in hot, non-climate-controlled areas for extended periods.
  • Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality for early-morning shifts.

Join a large-scale, high-impact manufacturing operation where your work directly supports cutting-edge battery production. You will gain hands-on experience with industrial equipment and material handling in a dynamic environment, with opportunities to build your skills in safety, construction, and equipment movement. The role offers steady, full-time hours and overtime opportunities, while working as part of a collaborative team that values safety, precision, and hard work.

This role is based in a large, approximately 2 million square foot battery manufacturing facility that includes both indoor and outdoor work areas. The environment is hot and non-climate controlled, requiring comfort with working in elevated temperatures throughout the day. You will regularly walk long distances across the production floor and surrounding areas, and perform frequent bending, crawling, and lifting. Work hours are 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.

The position involves daily use of manual and powered hand tools, manual toe jacks, skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and may involve working around forklifts and other lifts.
