Wave Dental Specialists is looking for an experienced Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our specialty team and work alongside our exceptional Oral Surgeon!
We are a multi-specialty dental practice committed to providing exceptional, personalized patient care in a friendly and supportive environment. Our team works together to create a great experience for both our patients and each other.
What We're Looking For- Minimum 1 year of oral surgery dental assisting experience required
- DAANCE Certified OR IV Certified required
- EFDA experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures and patient care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, organized, and patient-focused
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Assist the Oral Surgeon during surgical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and patients
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
- Monitor and maintain dental equipment and supplies
- Help provide a positive, comfortable patient experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
- Valid X-ray certificate.
- Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
- CPR & first aid certificate.
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
