• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Michigan
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a school environment
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, specialists, and families
• Adaptability in managing varying caseloads and classroom settings
• Well-developed behavior management and communication skills
• Commitment to creating individualized learning plans and tracking student progress

• Provide direct instruction to students with exceptionalities, tailoring lessons to meet IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to support student inclusion
• Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Utilize data-driven strategies to adapt instruction and interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development

• Multiple positions available to serve varied needs within the district
