Adecco has partnered with our manufacturing client in Washtenaw County, MI to find a Plant Controller. This will be 100% onsite until the person understands the plant, processes, and demonstrates that they have the ability to manage the role and staff by working two days remote.
This plant is non-union, with three shifts.
Core Responsibilities (not limited to):- Lead all plant-level financial operations (AP/AR, inventory, fixed assets, etc.)
- Manage month-end close, reporting, and financial reconciliations
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and 5-year financial planning
- Partner with plant leadership to drive cost savings and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and internal controls
- Support audits (internal & external)
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5–7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
- Strong background in plant/operations finance
- Experience with ERP systems (AS400, CMS, or Epicor preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of SOX/internal controls
