Admissions Coordinator – Full‑Time Night Shift
Dearborn, MI. Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) is a 144‑bed behavioral health facility providing inpatient and outpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs for adolescents, adults and older adults.
Role SummaryThe Admission Coordinator is responsible for answering the main doors and hospital multi‑line phone, verifying patient insurances, obtaining signatures on admitting paperwork, registering patients, and processing all admitting forms. The receptionist interfaces with the Intake Department, patients, and nursing units.
Responsibilities- Answer the main doors and multi‑line phone system.
- Verify patient insurances.
- Obtain required signatures on admitting paperwork.
- Register patients and process all admitting forms.
- Interface with the Intake Department, patients, and nursing units.
This in-person role works 12‑hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Overtime, holidays and weekends may be required on a rotation basis.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience verifying insurance required.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a receptionist, front‑desk clerk, or related hospital department required.
- Multi‑line phone and computer skills required.
- Professional, customer‑service focused individual with strong communication skills, ability to multi‑task and critical thinking skills.
