Part-Time Staffing Coordinator - Nursing Dept

Responsibilities

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the nursing department schedule. As the scheduling coordinator manages the shift master scheduling software system, adjusting staffing levels based on census fluctuations, tracking call‑ins and pre‑planned absences to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. This position is a key contributor and a member of the Nursing Management Team and reports directly to the CNO.

Metropolitan Behavioral Health (MetroBH) is a 144‑bed behavioral health facility that provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs for adolescents, adults and older adults, and offers behavioral health assessments 24‑hours a day. Programs for co‑occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are also available, as well as a robust outpatient program utilizing group, family and individual therapy.

• Education: High School diploma or GED (REQUIRED)
• Experience: Previous experience with scheduling 150+ employees
