Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated and analytical Demand & Supply Analyst, to join our Advanced Electric Vehicle (EV) MP&L team! You'll be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and translating those forecasts into feasible supply plans.

This involves collaborating closely with sales, marketing, finance, procurement, and operations teams to balance inventory levels, meet service level targets, and optimize supply chain efficiency. • Gather market intelligence from sales, marketing, and customers to enrich the statistical forecast.
  • Review and adjust forecasts based on business insights, seasonality, and external factors.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes for significant variances, implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance), during the demand planning cycle.
  • Supply Planning:
Translate demand forecasts into supply plans, considering production capacities, lead times, inventory targets, and supply base constraints.
  • Create and manage inventory plans, to achieve target service levels, while minimizing holding costs and obsolescence.
  • Work closely with capacity and scheduling teams, to ensure supply plans are executable and aligned with production schedules and purchasing timelines.
  • Work with relevant teams, to identify potential supply chain risks (e.g., material shortages, capacity constraints, logistics issues) and develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and manage stock transfers as needed.
  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):
Actively participate in the S&OP process, assisting in the preparation and presentation of demand and supply plans, highlighting risks and opportunities, and contributing to consensus decisions.
  • Prepare relevant reports and data analysis, to support S&OP meetings.
  • Analysis and Improvement:
Analyze supply chain performance metrics (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory turns, production to plan).
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the demand and supply planning functions.
  • Utilize planning software (Kinaxis, E2

Open, etc.) effectively for planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Generate reports and dashboards, to communicate key planning information to stakeholders.
