Business Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
What You’ll Do
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions related to pricing, profitability, and revenue performance.
- Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports (pricing analysis, margin performance, demand trends, customer segmentation) using Power BI and other BI tools.
- Monitor pricing effectiveness and revenue metrics against strategic objectives and targets.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends in customer behavior, price sensitivity, and market demand.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Leadership to translate analytical insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Contribute to process improvements and scalable analytical tools that strengthen revenue management capabilities.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s business model, pricing strategy, and market dynamics to support data-informed decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 1–2 years of experience in data analysis within a business environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into data‑driven insights, especially related to pricing, revenue, or profitability.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and visual storytelling.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with BI platforms and data systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Exposure to pricing, financial, or sales data within manufacturing, distribution, or service‑based environments.
- Experience using Python for data analysis, data manipulation, or exploratory modeling.
