Job Summary
Maintain safe and effective staffing levels for all inpatient nursing.
Essential Functions- Create and update the daily staffing sheets in ANSOS.
- Cover daily staffing needs for inpatient nursing.
- Monitor employee call‑ins.
- Place all staffing changes in ANSOS and ensure staffing to matrix.
- Make phone calls to employees for staffing needs and communicate changes.
- Oversee daily activities of the staffing office and provide assignments to the staffing secretary.
- Enter exception log edits into ANSOS for payroll.
- Assign contingent/temporary staff and outside personnel to units as needed.
- Attend meetings, compile data for reports, and assist Nurse Leaders and the Office Supervisor.
- Consistently adhere to the Beaumont Customer Service Standard.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Years of relevant experience in staffing and scheduling.
- Preferred:
Scheduling experience with ANSOS or equivalent staffing system.
