Our operation in Dearborn, MI supports automotive customers and plays a key role in managing daily transportation, staffing, customer service, and administrative functions. We are seeking an organized and proactive Office Manager to support facility operations, employee administration, and customer-facing responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative support functions.
- Coordinate onboarding, employee records, payroll support, and attendance tracking.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, customers, and corporate support teams.
- Assist facility leadership with reporting, scheduling, customer communications, and operational documentation.
- Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, training records, and safety documentation.
- Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and facility administrative needs.
- Assist with special projects and continuous improvement efforts as needed.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- 2+ years of experience in office administration, human resources, logistics, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with payroll, timekeeping, HR, or workforce management systems preferred.
- Experience supporting hourly work forces in a manufacturing, automotive, logistics, or transportation environment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
