Position Overview
As a Corporate Facilities Manager within PNC's Realty Services organization, you will be based in Dearborn, Plymouth, or Ann Arbor, Michigan. Your primary responsibility is to manage physical properties in the assigned region and influence their performance to achieve the lowest efficient operating expense level.
Job Description- Ensure properties operate in a code‑compliant, safe, functional, and cost‑effective manner.
- Manage vendors and contractors.
- Prepare the annual operating budget and capital/expense project plan for each property.
- Maintain relationships with end users, regional management hierarchy, and market operations managers.
- Communicate with line‑of‑business heads for assigned buildings.
- Visit each facility at least once per year.
- Implement building‑unique facility strategic plans.
- Execute a facility's churn process (including new hires) for up to 10 people.
- Oversee property‑related projects, up to $200k in value, including reconfigurations and consolidations.
- Ensure projects stay on budget, on time, and minimize disruption to end users.
- Customer Focused – align decisions with customer needs and satisfaction to create customized solutions.
- Managing Risk – assess and manage risks to support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- University or college degree with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Preferred skills in budgeting, cost‑effectiveness analysis, investment management, strategic planning, accurate detail orientation, effective communication, facilities management, lease and property management, occupational safety and health standards compliance, problem solving, project management, real estate law and policy compliance.
- Certifications desirable; in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
Bachelor's degree required. No mandatory certifications or licenses.
