We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fuel Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for managing fuel operations, analyzing fuel data, overseeing inventory, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting with training initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with fuel management systems and be knowledgeable in regulatory compliance related to above-ground storage tanks, including LARA (Licensing and Regulatory Affairs) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor fuel inventory levels across all locations.
- Analyze fuel usage trends, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions.
- Ensure accuracy of fuel data reporting and maintain detailed records.
- Conduct regular audits of fuel inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
- Oversee compliance with all safety regulations related to fuel handling and storage.
- Assist with maintaining and submitting documentation for LARA compliance on above-ground storage tanks.
- Train employees on proper fuel management procedures and safety practices.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Support emergency response efforts related to fuel management and storage.
- Continuously improve fuel management processes and reporting accuracy.
- Willingness to get hands on and learn all aspects of fuel distribution and operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in fuel management, inventory management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of LARA regulations and above-ground storage tank requirements is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and fuel management software systems.
- Ability to train and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to maintaining a strong culture of safety and compliance.
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience with environmental compliance programs.
- Familiarity with emergency response protocols for fuel systems.
- Prior experience working with regulatory agencies.
- CDL
