Qualifications- Experience as a high school head varsity golf coach preferred.
- Previous high school assistant varsity golf coaching experience preferred.
- Ability to work with and give direction to assistant coaches and other related personnel.
- Ability to relate well to high school students, parents, high school personnel, and the general public.
- Consideration will be given to golf playing experience at the college level.
- Previous high school varsity golf participation preferred.
- Minimum of two years of golf coaching experience at the high school level.
- Good understanding of golf coaching situations and strategy, as determined by the interviewing process.
- Demonstrated mental and physical ability and stamina to meet the requirements of the position.
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non‑prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout employment in the District and is expected to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. Employees will perform related duties as assigned.
Mandatory Program for New Varsity CoachesMust sign up and complete, within 6 months, the MHSAA Coaches Advancement Program (CAP).
Mandatory Training- CPR/AED Certification
- Concussion Online Class
