District/Organization: Statewide – Michigan State Police – Office of School Safety
Position/Type: Other, part time
Salary: $30.00 – $50.00 an hour
The Michigan State Police (MSP) Office of School Safety is seeking energetic, professional, and mission-driven individuals to serve as Community Engagement Representatives for the OK2
SAY Student Safety System. This unique opportunity allows qualified professionals to make a meaningful impact on the safety and well‑being of Michigan students by serving as a public ambassador for the system.
As an OK2
SAY Community Engagement Representative, you will deliver engaging, age‑appropriate presentations to students in elementary, middle, and high schools in Michigan. In addition to student presentations, representatives will provide educational seminars for parents, guardians, educators, and community stakeholders.
Representatives play a critical role in helping students recognize warning signs, understand how to seek help, and feel empowered to report concerns that could prevent violence, self‑harm, bullying, substance abuse, or other safety threats. Through education and outreach, you will help foster a culture where students understand that safety is a shared responsibility and that reporting concerns can save lives.
