Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction
- Contribute to the accomplishment of the campus ministry team’s plans for spiritual growth and transformation
- Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives
- Promote the Mission on campus by seeking opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ
- Learn to guide chapters or assigned segments in strategic thinking regarding witness to the university
- Model and assist students and faculty in growing in their love for God's people of every ethnicity and culture
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students, especially those not yet following Jesus as Lord and Savior
- Engage positively with supervision and training from staff ministry trainer and/or director
- Assist with reporting as assigned
- Serve as an ambassador of Inter Varsity to ministry partners and churches through prayer and discussion of ministry efforts
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

- Annual affirmation of Inter Varsity’s Statement of Agreement
- A developing passion for evangelism
- Campus ministry leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, communication, professionalism, eagerness to learn, cross-cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity
- Currently enrolled in a four‑year or community college; second year students and community college students may intern at two‑year/community colleges; third year and above can work at four‑year or community colleges; non‑Inter Varsity students at Christian colleges must have third or fourth year standing
- Pay range: $15.06 - $20.08 per hour, funded through personal fundraising and dependent on donor support
