Elementary Principal

Position/Type: Elementary Principal – Assistant, full time

Our school is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as the leader of our elementary school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, a strong commitment to student achievement, and the ability to manage and inspire a team of educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the elementary school, including curriculum development, teacher evaluations, student discipline, and parent communication.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of all students
• Evaluate and support teachers in their professional development
• Foster a positive school culture that promotes academic excellence, respect, and responsibility
• Manage and oversee the school’s budget and resources
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and policies
• Communicate regularly with parents and community stakeholders
• Address student discipline issues in a fair and consistent manner
• Collaborate with other school leaders to ensure a seamless transition from elementary to middle school

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of teaching experience, with at least two years of experience in a leadership role
• A master’s degree in education or a related field
• A valid teaching certification and principal certification
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A deep understanding of elementary curriculum and instructional practices
• The ability to manage a diverse group of educators and support staff
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
