MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma (Some college classes leading to Associates Degree preferred.)
- Spanish speaking preferred.
- Experience teaching children.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Computer skills helpful.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, students, and parents.
- Willing to participate in training to use in classroom.
- Provide behavior and functional support to special education students.
- Provide general academic support in small group instruction; responsible for instruction under Student Support Specialist’s supervision.
- Assist in general education settings
- Carry out the written objectives of a student’s IEPC, with assistance.
- Carry out other duties, not specifically mentioned.
