POSITION TITLE:

CTE Computer Programmer Instructor

POSITION:
The Shiawassee RESD is seeking an instructor in Career and Technical Education (CTE) Computer Programmer (CIP 11.0201 Computer Programming/Programmer) to teach high school junior and senior students interested in pursuing a career pathway in Information Technology. In addition, the instructor will teach students other professional skills, such as leadership, teamwork, ethical and legal responsibilities, and safety. This program runs Monday through Friday.

This position is part-time (.034 FTE) for 2 hours, 40 minutes per day from 9:30 AM to 12:10 PM.

• Information Technology (IT) experience that would result in qualification for an Annual Career Authorization (ACA).
• An ACA requires documentation of 4,000 hours of recent and relevant work experience over the past 10 years in the CIP area of 11.0201 Computer Programming/Programmer.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in Information Technology.
• All potential instructors are subject to a Michigan and FBI criminal history check and a drug screen.

REPORTS TO:

Associate Superintendent of 21st Century Learning/CTE Director

SALARY:
Salary will be based on the current CTE instructor salary schedule and years of relevant experience.
