Lifelong Wellness Adjunct Instructor

Part‑time Instructor – Lifelong Wellness

Delta College seeks a part‑time instructor to teach fitness and wellness courses during the fall, winter, spring, or summer terms, including days and evenings.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver courses: LW 221W – Fitness and Wellness; LW 222 – Science of Nutrition and Exercise.
• Deliver instruction face‑to‑face, in hybrid format, or fully online.
• Provide timely feedback, maintain course materials, and support student learning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health Fitness or Nutrition related field.
• Minimum of 2 years (≈ 4000 hours) of equivalent work experience.
• Preferred:
  Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Nutrition or Athletic Training;
  Group Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer certification; teaching experience at the community college level.
