Para Educator – Special Education
The Dearborn Academy, a K-8 Charter School located at 1930 Ford Rd. Dearborn, MI 48128, is seeking a Special Education Para Educator to provide instructional support to students and assist teachers in the educational process of all students in both instructional and non-instructional activities. This position supports students in small groups or one-to-one as needed to meet individualized educational goals.
Position Specific ResponsibilitiesCompletion of one of the following:
- At least two years of study at an institute of higher education.
- An associate or higher degree.
- Meet No Child Left Behind requirement:
Pass Work Keys Test.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from administrators, students, staff and the general public consistent with the duties of this position.
