Mon-Fri, 7AM-12:30PM
A preschool teacher aide y’s School is responsible for supporting the lead preschool teacher with managing a developmentally appropriate and quality preschool classroom according to the mission of St. Mary’s School.
Position Requirements:
- Meet State of MI licensing requirements for childcare staff
- Maintain First Aid and CPR training
- Undergo background and criminal history check
- Virtus Trained or willing to become trained prior to working in the classroom
- Complete minimum of 16 hours of training as prescribed by the Preschool Director
Job Duties:
- Encouraging the development of each student’s personal relationship with Christ.
- Supporting the lead teacher in maintaining a caring, faith-filled, and safe learning environment.
- Assisting the lead teacher in implementation of all classroom activities.
- Lead classroom activities in teacher’s absence.
- Working cooperatively with other staff in the classroom.
- Assists children with personal hygiene as needed.
- Cleans classroom spaces and materials according to health and sanitation regulations.
