Allied Travel Careers  is working with Ardor Health Solutions to find a qualified Sped Teacher in Dearborn, Michigan, 48120!

• Teach students with Moderate Cognitive Impairment (MoCI) in a school setting.
• Manage a caseload of 8-10 students with cognitive impairments.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to support student goals.
• Provide differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs.
• Collect and document data for progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families.
• Maintain compliance with IDEA and district special education guidelines.
• Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work in resource, self-contained, or 1:1 settings; handle externalizing behaviors as needed.
• Engage in lesson planning and work collaboratively with faculty and parents.
• Maintain strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

• Valid Michigan Special Education certification.
• Cognitive Impairment (SA or CI) endorsement required.
• Previous experience with students with cognitive impairments preferred.
