High School Special Education Teacher - Dearborn, MI

Multiple openings are available for passionate Special Education professionals to work in a resource room setting and make a real difference for young learners.

Two flexible options fit your schedule and preference:

• Full-time (40 hours/week):
  Oversee a caseload of 1420 students in either 9th grade or 10th12th grade.
• Part-time (20 hours/week):
  Provide targeted support to approximately 10 students, with a choice of AM or PM shifts, Monday through Friday.

• Deliver individualized academic support tailored to each students learning needs.
• Foster social-emotional growth and resilience in a supportive classroom setting.
• Implement effective behavior intervention strategies that encourage positive outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create consistent, empowering learning experiences.

• Prior experience in Special Education is highly valued.
• Michigan Special Education Certification is preferred; however, educators with a substitute Special Education Certificate are welcome to apply.
• Comfort working with high school students and familiarity with resource room environments.
