Position: Special Education Teacher 36-week Contract *Up to 52/hr

Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Dearborn, MI. The role offers up to $52 per hour, weekly direct deposit, and a focus on cognitive impairment support within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with cognitive impairments.

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student success.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for students.

  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and independence.

Qualifications:
  • MI Special Education Certification with Cognitive Impairment Endorsement.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in special education settings supporting cognitive impairment.

  • Strong communication, patience, and adaptability skills.

  • Background check clearance required.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.
