Meet the team:
As a Service Technician Associate you will work as part of the Service Operations team providing electric and hybrid vehicle mechanical maintenance and support. In this position you will also perform independent project tasks and collaborate with internal customers and team members.
What you’ll do:- Maintain and repair a growing fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles.
- Accurately document all findings and track time accordingly.
- Diagnose issues using supplied hardware and software combinations.
- Communicate with cross functioning teams on electrical and electronic systems and autonomous control systems.
- Follow documented work instructions completely and accurately.
- Validate DAT (Driver Assist Technologies), ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist Systems), AV (Autonomous Vehicle) and EV (Electric Vehicle) systems functionality.
- Work in small teams as needed to complete any engineering requirements.
- Track inventory of the location's parts and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with two (2) years of employment experience.
- Experience working on vehicles professionally. Garage experience preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Expect to potentially travel up to 15% of the time for training and/or support of other office locations.
- Must have valid driver’s license and ability to meet Latitude AI’s minimum driving record requirements, as verified by Motor Vehicle Record background checks prior to hire and periodically thereafter.
- Ability to meet Latitude’s Vehicle Operator safety screening requirements, including drug screening and criminal background checks conducted prior to hire and periodically thereafter.
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or similar.
- Knowledge of Google Suite programs including Documents, Sheets and Gmail.
- Able to create, modify, and install wiring systems and harnesses.
- Experience with the function, installation, repair, and replacement of autonomous vehicles or active safety equipment.
- Experience with flashing and re-flashing automotive control modules and CAN (Controller Area Network) bus operation.
- Familiar with vehicle integration software and data collection.
- Familiar with the use of oscilloscope or picoscope.
