About the Role
Position Summary
Join a high-performing team responsible for driving the on-time delivery of propulsion controls software across multiple vehicle programs. In this role, you will lead complex software release planning, integration, and validation activities while collaborating closely with Software Planning & Integration, Project Controls, propulsion calibration teams, and software development teams. Responsibilities- Software Release Leadership
- Develop, maintain, and lead propulsion controls software release plans that support program timing and complexity.
- Align release activities with Ford program milestones.
- Create feature-by-phase plans, application plans, and validation plans for each release.
- Issue Feature Cycle Plan (FCP) requests to feature teams.
- Work with validation and integration teams to meet validation requirements, resolve issues, and support bug fix planning.
- Program & Project Management
- Collaborate with Project Controls to understand program timing and hardware specifications.
- Maintain planning tools and Jira boards for assigned programs, ensuring accurate status and proactive issue resolution.
- Track late-stage software changes through the change control process and ensure delivery of approved updates.
- Lead component management meetings and coordinate communication with internal customers.
- Cross-Functional Engagement
- Participate in gasoline and electrified change control boards.
- Engage in Agile scrum meetings, PMST meetings, and lead software CPMT sessions.
- Support the bill-of-feature and technical design review processes.
- Identify opportunities for improved software quality, cost efficiency, and team effectiveness.
- Strong program planning and project management capabilities.

- Familiarity with Agile software development and terminology.
- Ability to participate in daily stand-ups and work within Jira-based workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (strongly preferred).
- Understanding of Product Development System (PDS) deliverables and reporting processes.
- Prior program management experience.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply engineering management and data analytics tools (e.g., Jira, Excel, custom tools).
- Experience with Ford in-house software tools (UPS, BP, AP, GTPS).
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite currently, with potential to move to 5 days.
- Fast-paced, collaborative environment working across multiple work streams and technical groups.
