Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring a Full-time ADAS Instrumentation Technicians for an automotive Tier 1 supplier in Dearborn, MI. ADAS Instrumentation Technicians will provide electric vehicle and mobility equipment installation and troubleshooting for the assembly and testing of autonomous vehicles. Candidates meeting the requirements for this ADAS Instrumentation Technician position below are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:- Use technical documentation such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and 2D/3D drawings to support accurate assembly
- Assemble, modify, and repair autonomous vehicle components using standard tools and best practices
- Assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting of autonomous vehicle and high-voltage systems using hardware and software tools
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to test and validate advanced autonomous and electronic systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Schedule:
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation roles
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), electric vehicles (EVs), or autonomous vehicle (AV) technologies
- Demonstrated ability to install electronic components and wiring harnesses
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Skills:
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a related field
- Experience with high-voltage systems and electrical diagnostics
- Hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and servicing autonomous vehicle systems
- Familiarity with control module flashing, CAN bus operation, and vehicle diagnostic tools
- Experience with vehicle data collection software and test equipment such as oscilloscopes or Pico Scopes
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
