We are seeking an experienced HV Design and Release Engineer to lead the design, development, and release of high‑voltage power outlet and consumer charging systems. This role supports internal combustion, electric, and electrified platforms and requires deep technical expertise in electrical systems, charging technologies, and high‑voltage safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Design and release high‑voltage power outlet systems, including DC‑to‑AC inverters and high‑current charging components
- Develop and manage technical requirements to ensure system performance, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Lead PPAP activities, including understanding and execution of PPAP levels 0-3
- Create and maintain 3‑D models and design documentation using CATIA or similar CAD tools
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to integrate charging systems within vehicle electrical architectures
- Support validation, testing, and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Stay current on emerging charging technologies, global standards, and high‑voltage system requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of experience designing and releasing high‑voltage or consumer charging systems
- Experience with AC/DC charging systems, embedded systems, and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
- Knowledge of functional safety and regulatory standards (ISO 26262, UL, IEC)
- Proficiency with CATIA, Teamcenter, and 3‑D modeling tools
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills
