In this position...

You leverage your visionary expertise as a Lean Digitalization Strategist to lead the evolution of our continuous improvement culture. The ideal candidate will not only be a master of traditional Lean methodologies but also an expert in translating those principles into the digital realm. You will be responsible for architecting an FPS roadmap—replacing manual, static processes with dynamic, data-driven digital solutions that enhance visibility, speed, and decision-making across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

  • Act as Ford Production System Lean Digitization Lead
  • Hold responsibility for all Lean digital solutions for the Ford production system, including control centers, layered process reviews, kaizen intensity, and issue tracking.
  • Learn to collaborate and standardize across VO, PTO, and Stamping to streamline data and information flow.
  • Manage all FPS Digitalization solutions and collaborate with ATP, IT, and GDIA to integrate all future planned digital solutions.
  • Attend Kaizen and Lean Academy events to become a lean practitioner and lean leader.
  • Deploy and train plant personnel on all newly launched digital applications.
Qualifications

You'll have...

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Operations, or a related technical field.
  • Lean Expertise: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent deep experience in Kaizen, 5S, VSM, and JIT.
  • Digital Proficiency: 3+ years of experience implementing digital solutions within a manufacturing or complex operational environment.
  • Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP (SAP/Oracle), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) architectures.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable operational insights.
  • Communication: Demonstrated expertise with MS Office Suite (advanced PowerPoint) and success in presenting to leadership.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680 to $212,760.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
