Job Description
STA Launch/Resident Engineer
Responsibilities- Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery
- Lead cross-functional decisions with Client & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues.
- Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers
- Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations
- Lead adherence to Client standards (i.e.Q1)
- Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites
- Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP)
- Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality
- Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery
- Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations
- Quality Management, Problem Solving, PPAP processes, APQP and Quality Experience
- Cross-Functional/culture work experience Program management experience
- Knowledge of STA Quality tools and systems Knowledge of new model launch tools and system
- Bachelor of Science/ Engineering, or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude
- Bachelor's Degree
- Hybrid (mix of remote and on-site work)
